I remember reading a thread about somebody on here making their own beer and bottling it. I really want to get into this and start making some sweet ipa's. Had questions and wanted to get some help.
PS...definitely want to try your beer too.![]()

That would be Beantown, and he's the MASTER of IPA's!!! Just had me quite a bit of his new Turn 4 Omega IPA this past weekend at the races, and DAMMIT it was good!!!![]()
Thanks Danny. I need to shoot him a pm on ho to get started. Really want to try and make my own beer and see how it goes. His beer is getting pretty official isn't it? Start selling it on the boards.![]()
thanks bro. I am working on my next beer for the may races....I'm thinking of calling it Hoppy Highside IPA. actually gonna brew it up this afteroon....For April i have a orange wheat heff and a pale ale i tasted last night....its amazing! probably bring a 12 pack of each.
AZr6 i started with Mr. Beer. its a cheap kit that can get you started and learn the process. they sell beer kit ingrediants ready to brew...they are ok but you can make 2 times as much for 1/2 the price if you do standard 5 gallon batches. mr beer is 2.13 gallon batches. its a real easy process once its understood. a good forum to read is HomeBrewTalk.com - Beer, Wine, Mead, & Cider Brewing Discussion Community.. A must read is How to Brew - By John Palmer - you can read the book online on this site.
where do ya live? if you want to come by an see how its done let me know. be brewing today around 1 pm. i usually do it every couple weeks.

^ Loved the IPA that you gave me. Got a turkey fryer and built and immersion cooler so I'm hopeful the next batch will be the best I've done. AZR, I also started with the Mr. Beer. Its kind of a dip your toes in start which really helps.
It requires an unusual mind to undertake an analysis of the obvious.
Which IPA? The Pliny the Elder (thats a double IPA) or the Turn 4? We drank all the T4 last weekend at the races lol

T4 was yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummy!
Thanks again for the food and beer bean! Damn that drive home was a trip... LOL
I live in Costa Mesa and was actually up by you in Long Beach earlier today...too bad I didn't see this until I got home cuz I definitely would have come by and checked out the process. So just look into getting that kit and go from there? Do you use all ingredients bought through them?
Sounds like exactly what I need. I need really know much about brewing my own beer but I really want to get into it.
