What a ride

So as a few of you guys knew, I started my application for Warrant Officer Flight Training a good while back. Well I got all the way to the final board (USAREC). Well I did not make it, so I said fuck it, might as well go for OCS. I went through the board today and was told by the Major who was president of the board that he would write a very strong letter of recommendation for me. Seeing as it's the second time I have gone in front of the board, they know how bad I want this. The approval rate for OCS is around 85% so next month *knock on wood* I should be signing my contract.

So in cliff notes, I made it through all the major hurdles and should be singing and swearing into the Army next month with a bit of luck. I am just ready to be locked in and done with the months of being in limbo.
