Anyone ever do a Roger Lyle Trackday?

Exactly as the title asks, anyone ever do one ( www.motorcyclexcitement.com )? I'm thinking about the July 16th at NJMP or maybe August 10th at Summit and just want to know what I might expect from 'his' organization.

I'm also trying to judge if his roadracing school would be worth the extra cash.

Never heard of the orgnaization. I've done a trackday with NESBA.

Where you from anyways?

Baltimore Maryland at the moment.

Spent a few years in Delaware as well.

A employee at an Owings Mills bike shop told me about that trackday org. MotoNeko, I think they just finished their move out to (or about to make it to) LA

I've done a lot of days with TPM and Nesba and like them both. I've heard a few good things about Roger Lyle's org but never have tried them myself.

Ive heard good things about Roger Lyle, from what I understand you can just walk up the day of the track day and register. I really wanna get on the track but have no way of getting my bike to the track

Well, looks like I'm going to do one with TPM on the 29th at NJMP. Anyone else going to be around? Figured I'd ask.

I did one with lyle when he was first starting at summit. there was a total of 6 riders. I've read a couple places since (i think wera boards) where they'll let faster riders in the slower groups and aren't really that good at policing the riders (ie unsafe passing, etc)

I've rode with them many times and its my favorite org to do a trackday with. They seem to have a ton of open track space and the way they run it is safe, but laid back, which I like. Roger and everyone that sets up the track day are very cool, friendly people.

I always have a great time when I'm there and its cool that sometimes I can ride in different groups so I can show my friends different lines etc and just mess around with them.

I never did their racing school but they do have control riders from wera/ccs so I'm sure you'll get something out of it.

Overall, its my favorite track day org to spend a day at the track with.

Yeah, Roger runs a good day. Before track days became so popular, there would be different groups in the morning, then it was *open* the entire afternoon. Ride til you were tired, come in, cool off, refuel, repeat, repeat, repeat....
