GAP Trip 4/25/09

Anyone going to be around the area?

We have a group of 7.
Going to be there from 4/25 - 5/3/09

Oh you picked the perfect time to go. I was there last year first of May. The guys at the resort were mostly northern guys like Ohio and Jersey, New Yorkers, that were riding down to get to warmer climates. And lots of sport and sport touring biker types, metric bikes, in the fall it turns into mostly a cruiser crowd. Don't try to arrive after dark, and make some plan on bringing booze in from another town as most towns are dry there.

Last year we did the same trip and it was great (from Michigan). Two years ago we did the late July trip and that was a mess. This is definitely the best time to go, streets are empty Leo's are in better moods ( for the most part), and it's not crazy hot. If anyone makes it around that way we'll keep an eye out for you.

should have posted this up earlier I probably could have gotten a few riders from the Toledo area to head down that way with a bit more notice.. I've rented a nice place down there a couple times but never get a lot of people that want to spend a full week which is always the best...
