    Default Virginia and NC question

    I am going to be relocating, more than likely to VA or NC. I was wondering if anyone knows the rules as far as putting a salvage title bike on the street?

    Like here in CA I just have to get an inspection by the state police and then can register it normal.

    Not sure.. Try googling it or looking through State sites for the laws.

    Keep in mind, if you live in NC and make 60k a year, you pay 10% in STATE income taxes now.. not sure if that matters to you, but it definitely affects us. (They just raised it from 8 to 10% like two weeks ago...) It's a pretty expensive state to live in after all the fees they throw at you.
