    sucks to hear to about wadding your bike. time to invest in some quality leathers. whats the damage assessment on your bike? from the pix, it seems like its totally fixable...barring the frame is bent. just claim the bike as salvaged.

    it wasnt that bad but the ins.co. totaled it and they were only going to give me like $1000 for me too keep it and that wouldn't get me the farings unless i went with chinees. so i let them take it and ill get another bike.

    Sorry this happened to you man and thanks for sharing! Is there any equipment you could have been wearing that would have helped prevent the damage too your ribs, pelvis, shoulder and femur? Any insight would be helpful. What brand/model gear were you wearing (besides helmet)? thanks!
